Happy June
Hey you guys! Hope you are each having a wonderful June so far! We are in the new moon still, so be sure to write out your abundance checks~ ask the Universe, it always provides! So, most of you remember the crazy story I told two summers ago about Matthew and I asking for a baby, and we found our newest kitty Sabriel in the middle of the road. He is soooo not a little kitty anymore! He is a BIG cat! We think he truly is mixed with something wild! He has all kinds of little weird habits that neither of us have ever experienced with other kitties! Well, last night, as I was thinking about the things for the newsletter, he walked up to me with one of my oracle cards in his mouth! So, I felt like it was appropriate to share with you guys~ hopefully, it will bring all of us some much needed good luck and love! Until I see you again, BE WELL, BE HAPPY, BE LOVED!! Namaste~ Jen
Horseshoe Card~ From Titania's deck of Health and Happiness cards
Horseshoes are renowned for being lucky. This spell will help you bring joy and a sense of fulfillment to your life. Take a horseshoe and tie a brightly colored ribbon to it. Make a wish for happiness in your life while holding the shoe up to the first crescent moon occurring after you have taken possession of the shoe. Address the Goddess of the Moon and of Horses~ you may call her Epona, or Rhiannon, and say, "Lady, by this sign, I know you watch me. Please honor these requests, my dreams. Light a silver candle in Her honour, and place the horseshoe around the base as it burns. Your wishes will be honored, as long as you are sure to show no doubts.
As many of you may know, the Goddess Rhiannon was falsely accused of killing Her own child. She was forced to tell her story to every person visiting Her Province, and offer them a ride on Her back. She bore Her punishment without complaint, and over time, gained the respect of Her people. Years later, Her son returned home, and all was restored to happiness. The story of the Celtic goddess Rhiannon reminds us of the healing power of humor, tears, and forgiveness. The goddess Rhiannon is a goddess of movement and change who remains steadfast, comforting us in times of crisis and of loss.
