Would you like to make your very own set of runes? Join us for a two part class on the history, use, and making of your special set of runes!! Cost for this two part workshop is $100, and includes the runes, and firing of the runes, as well as the class of information on how to use them! So cool!! Also, we rescheduled the art class with Susan Hawfield to accommodate a few people that needed a different date, so if you were interested, you will have another opportunity to take it!! Sunday, March 25th from 2pm to 4pm.
Touch Drawing Workshop with Susan 2pm-4pm $95 All supplies included. Experience the creative expression of your inner child, or self, through the Touch Drawing process. Engage in inner reflection as you listen to music of the chakras to guide you through your thoughts, emotions and feelings as you play with your fingers and hands on paper that sits upon paint on a board. We will begin with explanation, meditation and energy exercises to prepare us to paint. Then spend time in silent reflection as we paint to the music and have discussion of our creations as we wind down our experience.There is no art experience necessary to participate as we are not concentrating drawing pretty pictures. This is time to go inward,reflect and create from a spiritual presence and giving the body permission to speak through movements of the fingers and hands on paper. This very simple art form can open the door to the universal soul. This process is being used therapeutically in healing and rehabilitation as it has evolved from when Deborah Koff-Chapin first started this technique. Susan has always been an artist at heart from early childhood and also interested in alternative health areas for over 30 years. " Art in Spirit through Touch Drawing" is her way of bringing art and energy healing together to create the space and energy to bring forward the emotions and releasing them through the art process.
On April 22, my friend Margaret Self will be offering an introduction to Jin Shin Jyutsu class from 2pm to 4pm cost is $35. The deadline to sign up for this class is April 12th.
